U-TROWEL BASECOAT is a blend of Portland cement, specially blended aggregates and alkaline resistant fibers designed to be used as a basecoat for Umaco U-Trowel and Umaco FinishCoat. UT Basecoat may be applied vertically with a steel trowel over brick, block, concrete, stone, cement board and exterior grade plywood (when covered with a weather resistive barrier and properly fastened galvanized wire lath). UT Basecoat is designed to be mixed with Add Mix-35, an acrylic additive.
